Donate Your RMD:
Are you 70 and a half or older and taking an RMD from your IRA every year? Save yourself some tax dollars and donate all or part of your RMD to Higher Up Texas! You can use the qualified charitable distribution to donate directly to HUT, making the value of that donation not taxable to you while satisfying your RMD.
