Higher Up Texas is proud to announce its inaugural class of graduates! In August, 25 Dickinson High School students began a journey that would lead to many things outside of their comfort zones. This discomfort would lead them to new experiences, ideas and ways of thinking critically. Our HUTs learned about financial literacy, civic engagement, culture, social responsibility, mental health, future financial wealth, peer mentoring, and self-advocacy. We are proud of them and plan to continue support beyond graduation through mentorship, career opportunities, and personal development.

Higher Up Texas is a 501(c)3 organization with a mission to create a core-value based environment that introduces high school students to a broader world view through ideas, experiences, people and a network of support outside of their communities to develop critical thinking skills and create a clear path of career trajectory which will serve them throughout their lives.

We are beyond excited and grateful for the support from Dickinson Independent School District
