About Our Programs
HUT is a program that is broken into three distinct phases. In HUT Phase 1, select high school seniors attend our class two days a week during their school day. In HUT Phase 2, students continue and are supported and on-ramped into professional careers through professional development workshops, one-on-one support, and mentorship. Phase 3 occurs when our members enter professional careers and become OUR network!
It all begins with a conversation and a champion to assist with connections and funding! However, there is a waitlist at this time.
At this time, you cannot. Each year, HUT works with campus administration to assess which senior level courses meet the best practices criteria to participate. After the courses have been determined, students enrolled in those classes will automatically begin their HUT journey!
We would love to provide HUT for all Seniors! However, we are limited on our capabilities to do so. We do have opportunities for students from those campuses that have graduated within the past two years to apply in our HUT Phase 2, post high school program.
Life skills education in financial literacy, civic engagement, entrepreneurship, social responsibility, self-advocacy, community engagement; professional etiquette skills and practice; critical thinking skills; intentional networking opportunities with community leaders, professionals, and peers
HUT phase 2 (post high school program for young adults +18) builds upon previous skills by offering: advanced personal and career development workshops; professional career on-ramping; mentoring; one-on-one support; leadership development; opportunities to begin teaching the younger members life skills; group community volunteering
When career opportunities arise, we post on our social media channels and website.
HUT is for all young adults who are open to the support and guidance to reach their goals regardless of the career field they are interested in.
